Welcome to Chicago! We anticipate this year’s Chicago Collegiate Invitational to be one of top indoor meets in the region, if not the nation, showcasing all levels of collegiate track and field talent. This year we will introduce multi-events for men (Heptathlon) & women (Pentathlon) to our meet schedule.
Please see the attached meet schedule which includes a Friday session to start the first day of multi -events along with Distance Medley Relay, 5K, Weight Throw, High Jump, 600m and the unseeded sections of 60m, 60m Hurdles and 200m.
ENTRY FEE
Team Entry is $600 per team, per gender (Men & Women are separate). Multi-Event Athletes’ Fee is $80 per athlete, in addition to the Team Entry. Because of the diversity of levels in this meet, NCAA Div I Teams must have at least 14 athletes per gender to be counted as a Team; NCAA Div II, and all others divisions must have a minimum of 10 athletes per gender to be considered a Team. For Teams with less than 14 or 10 athletes per gender, the fee is $65 per individual for three (3) events. Additional events will be $20/event.
All unattached/post-collegiate athletes must pay the $65.00 per athlete for (3) events.

ENTRY PROCEDURE
INVITED TEAMS should register online using the DIRECT ATHLETICS entry system (directathletics.com). Coaches must have both your username and password in order to use the system. The entry deadline is 7:00PM Central Time on Tuesday, January 26th, 2027. TEAMS will be limited to FOUR (4) ENTRIES PER EVENT and TWO (2) RELAYS PER TEAM for each relay event. Any exceptions must be approved by the meet director. (ccollins@gatelypark.com).
Unattached post-collegiate athletes must also contact the meet director.
Teams are allowed unlimited entries per event. A Team consists of 14 or more athletes per gender. Schools with less than 14 athletes will pay $30/athlete for up to two events. School checks may be made out to Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center. Credit Cards are also accepted.
PLEASE PROVIDE ACCURATE INDOOR SEED MARKS TO ASSIST US IN ACCURATELY SEEDING RACES AND PROVIDING THE BEST COMPETITION FOR YOUR ATHLETES. MEET MANAGEMENT WILL USE THEIR DISCRETION IN SETTING UP HEATS AND FLIGHTS
Entries will open on Direct Athletics on 9/28/2026. Detailed meet information will be available on gatelytrackandfield.com and sent to invited teams.
Packet Pick up will be located as you enter the Dr. Worrill Track & Field Center. We will have wrist bands for coaches in order to access the competitive areas of the arena.
Spike Check: Only ¼” pyramid spikes are permitted on the track surface.
Athletic Trainers: Schools with athletic trainers can set up on the South end of the arena, near the Throwing area.
Team Camps will be located on the West side of the facility in the bleachers.
Warm-up & Cool-downs: A 4-Lane 50m track is on the North end of the arena, underneath the videoboard provides warm-up. Blocks and Hurdles will be available on the warmup straight. Please remind student-athletes to keep off the infield when not in an active competition. Electronic devices and headphones/ear buds are not permitted in any event area.
Check-In Procedures
Field Events: Throws and Horizontal Jumps will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of previous event. A 15-20 minute warm up will begin at the conclusion of the previous event.
Track Events: Check-in for Running Events will be located on the NW end of the facility, next to the 4-Lane warm-up area. Track athletes must check in at the clerk’s table a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of their race. They will be asked to return 5 minutes prior to the start of their event. Athletes will be escorted to the start line by the clerk. Finalists in the 60m dash and 60m hurdles will check in at the start line. Failure to check in will result in disqualification.
We will seed the 4x400’s in order to have each school’s “A” team race each other. If there are more than 6 “A” teams entered, the 7th and 8th ranked teams based on entry time will be placed in heat two along with “B” teams and so on. Relay cards will be in the team packet.
Opening Heights and Progression:
Women’s Pole Vault: 2.50, 2.65, 2.80, 2.95, 3.10, 3.25, +10cm…
Men’s Pole Vault: 3.50, 3.65, 4.80, 3.95, 4.10, 4.25, 4.40, 4.55, +10cm…
Women’s High Jump: 1.35, 1.40, 1.45, 1.50, +3cm…
Men’s High Jump: 1.70, 1.75, 1.80, 1.85, 1.90, 1.95, 2.00, +3cm…
Implement Check In: Weigh-ins will take place an hour prior to the start of the event each dayat the South end near the Throwing area. Illegal implements will be impounded.
Weights & Shots: Will begin at 1:30 PM (Friday) and 8:30 AM (Saturday)
Entrance and Parking: Student Athlete Entrance will be on the South Side Main Entrance.
Team buses should drop off at the parking lot entrance. Buses will need to park along back side of Gately Football Stadium. Team vans and spectators can park in the general parking lot. Overflow parking can be found across the street at Corliss High School.
All spectators will enter through the main entrance nearest the parking lot.
