Conveniently located adjacent to our kitchenette, Club Room 2 offers flexible seating arrangements, tables and chairs, and access to shared facility refrigerators.

All rentals are subject to availability and facility approval. Additional fees may apply.

Viewing Area

Capacity: Approximately 45–50 guests

The Viewing Area offers a unique and versatile event space overlooking Gately's premier indoor track and field facility. Perfect for meetings, social gatherings, receptions, and special celebrations, this space can be configured to suit your event.

Flexible Space Options: The east-side doors can be closed to create a more private, intimate setting or opened to provide a spacious, open atmosphere with direct access to the lobby.

Connected to Club Room 1, the Viewing Area also offers additional flexibility for events requiring adjoining spaces, subject to availability and approval.

Tables and chairs are included, subject to availability.

Rental Information & Reservations

Included: Tables and chairs, subject to availability. Shared refrigerators are available for facility use.

Advance Notice: Submit rental requests at least 14 days before your event. Last-minute requests are subject to approval and may involve additional fees.

Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure an approved reservation. The remaining balance must be paid before the event.

Additional Fees: Maintenance, staffing, and other charges may apply depending on event requirements.

How to Reserve Your Space

Planning an event at Gately? Follow these five simple steps to request and secure your rental.

Step 1 — Create Your Chicago Park District Account

All renters are required to have an active Chicago Park District account. This account allows you to access your rental permit, submit your deposit, and complete your final payment online.

If you already have an account, you do not need to create another.

Step 2 — Submit Your Rental Request

Complete our online rental request form with your preferred date, time, rental space, estimated attendance, and event details.

Step 3 — Availability Confirmation & Permit

Our team will review your request to confirm that your preferred space, date, and time are available.

If available and approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your rental permit. Your permit will be accessible through your Chicago Park District account.

Step 4 — Secure Your Reservation

A 50% deposit is required to secure your approved rental date. Payments are completed through your Chicago Park District account.

Step 5 — Complete Your Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid through your Chicago Park District account before your event begins.

Important Rental Information

  • Club rooms are $75 per hour, per room.

  • Additional maintenance, staffing, or last-minute rental fees may apply.

  • Submitting a rental request does not guarantee availability or a confirmed reservation.
